Developing clarity and confidence in your neurodivergent child

Clarity Education Coaching collaborates with students - and their parents - to develop their executive function skills and reach their academic and life goals.

Does this sound familiar?

You/your child:

  • Is bright and talented but super disorganised

  • Has trouble getting started on tasks and gets easily distracted

  • Misses deadlines at school/university

  • Has trouble figuring out how long a task will take and then scrambles to get things done

  • Is struggling to show their true potential because of their poor executive function skills

You as a parent are:

  • Exhausted at trying to keep your child organised

  • At a loss at how to help them

  • Bewildered at how on earth your child will find their way in life

  • Saddened by their struggles to show their academic achievement, particularly when you know they are capable of so much more

You are not alone!

These are challenges many young people face, particularly if they are, if you suspect they are, neurodivergent.

How I can help:

Student One to One Coaching

My one to one coaching package works on bespoke strategies to explore executive function challenges, collaborate with the student on strategies to develop successful habits, and offer accountability and support through reflection

Parent One to One Coaching

My one to one parent coaching package explores cultivating a deeper understanding of challenges faced, creating systems to support effective habit formation, and considering one’s own needs to avoid parental burnout.

One off parent/student workshops

My one off workshops aimed at parents or students address particular challenges faced and suggest effective tools to meet needs.

Meet Your Coach

Suzanne Kamal

I have taught English as an Additional Language for over 25 years, in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. As a Head of EAL, my role often involved scaffolding tasks and supporting students to achieve their goals, which included supporting them in their organisational and critical thinking skills.

Both of my children are neurodivergent, and I found myself using those skills at home too. So I decided to train as an Executive Function Coach to get a better understanding of the neuroscience behind habit formation and what is going on in a disorganised mind. This has equipped me with better skills to help students and parents become clearer in their understanding of the challenges, and more confident in overcoming them.

I’ve been coaching students and parents since 2023, and have a particular passion for seeing transformation in young people’s well-being as a result of forming better habits related to executive function.

  • "Suzanne's expertise and understanding has been instrumental for my daughter in developing her executive function skills; she has encouraged her to develop and use strategies and techniques for managing her studies and workload at a difficult time. Suzanne has also given her a safe, secure space in which to understand herself as a neurodivergent learner and person so she can better advocate for herself. I would absolutely recommend her to support with any and all of these aspects of coaching."

  • “These sessions helped me understand the burnout cycle and different stress responses, they helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses with executive function. It was especially helpful to have someone who demonstrated empathy for my situation and who could help me reframe tasks..”
